My new fashion bike

I bought a bike on the weekend! It’s a vintage cream step-through with a basket on the front … very Surry Hills.

So far I’ve been cruising on the footpaths because I’m likely to get a serious case of the death wobbles if I ride on the street!

I’ve hit up Moore Park and Centennial Park but am keen to find out some other good rides around the city … any recommendations?

Pole Dancing to Christian rock music

Not me ;) but some of the bobbi's teachers busting a move

My new pole dancing routine is to a song by Christian rock band, Creed. The song is One Last Breath which as far as I understand is a song about someone calling out to God for saving.

Take the second verse for example:

I’m looking down now that it’s over
Reflecting on all of my mistakes
I thought I found the road to somewhere
Somewhere in His grace
I cried out heaven save me
But I’m down to one last breath

I love the song and I love my pole dancing but somehow I don’t think the two should have ever been brought together.

What do y’all think: Is it wrong that I pole dance to Christian music?

Running in the Rain

Watch out for the puddle! Courtesy of Broken Hearted Runner

Went for a run in the rain last night. Ok, it wasn’t just raining it was pissing down.

My flatmate told me to take my floaties. I didn’t but I probably should have: I was drenched before I made it to the end of the street. For some illogical reason, the rain actually made me run faster. I think my subconscious was tricked into thinking it might get me out of the rain faster.

I also discovered that jumping in puddles is still as fun as it was when I was five years old! ;-)
