My new fashion bike

I bought a bike on the weekend! It’s a vintage cream step-through with a basket on the front … very Surry Hills.

So far I’ve been cruising on the footpaths because I’m likely to get a serious case of the death wobbles if I ride on the street!

I’ve hit up Moore Park and Centennial Park but am keen to find out some other good rides around the city … any recommendations?

Aah, thanks Andrea. I’ll take good care of it – promise!

And Phil, we must go for a ride soon! Except on the footpath – none of this weaving through pedestrians nonsense ;)

Have a serious case of the green monster right now. Love that bike H. It’s so pretty. Makes my grungy little BMX with skull caps look like the ugly sister to your Cinderella! :P

Very Surry Hills indeed! If you like vintage bikes, check out the Vanmoof No 6. It’s just been launched in Australia. I don’t know many rides around the city but Olympic Park is good because I don’t have to worry about the cars hahaha

Thanks for the tip Essa. I’m looking to do a ride with my friend (and her new fashion bike!) soon so I’ll look into Olympic Park rides.
